Dr. Andrea Aguilera is a pediatrician who has a passion for both art and science. She has created acrylic canvas representations of medications and biological structures that are commonly encountered in the medical setting. She has designed this collection as a scientific explosion of color meant not only for her personal wellness, but also a unique therapeutic oasis for the thoughts and feelings of others.

Dr. Aguilera received her medical degree from the University of Florida and completed her pediatrics residency at Indiana University Riley Children’s Hospital. She currently practices pediatrics in Jacksonville Florida. She loves caring for children and families and understands how art can be used as a modality to enhance communication, particularly as an emotional outlet. She also has a desire to improve medical provider health and wellness and uses her artwork as a tool for relaxation, meditation, and prayer outside the hospital setting. She believes the ultimate healer is God, but loves to use the gifts she has been given to serve and care for others.
